i have a lot of feelings about starks and archers and gods and pirates and serial killers and superheroes and impossibly pretty faces. yep.
Hey. Hey, guys. If you like comics, and you like learning about comics, you should ABSOLUTELY read this post and sign up for this class. I took the on-campus version of this class last semester, and needless to say it was one of the best classes I’ve ever taken in my life. And if that’s not enough for you, you get to talk to and interview actual creators – Scott Snyder, Gail Simone, Mark Waid, Matt Fraction, and Brian K. Vaughan, just to name a few. And expect a bunch of plugs like this in the next few months, because SERIOUSLY. THIS CLASS IS GREAT. TAKE IT!!!
Well, if anyone’s still following me (or remembers me), I’m moving blogs. I stopped blogging last semester to help me focus on school, and since this is my last semester (eep), I can’t promise I’ll be on the new blog very often, but I’ll try to put in an appearance every once in awhile. This one is just too old and too cluttered, so. Time for something new.
Message me if you want the new URL; if not, it’s been a pleasure seeing your posts on my now defunct dash! :)

ladies who should be playing mythical head bitches in charge | FREIDA PINTO as MEDUSA, the the beautiful priestess who was the desire of many men, who was cursed by pallas athene. The pain begins in the tips of her fingers. She feels it between her bones, racing alongside the inner veins of her wrists, feels it shoot up to curve around the delicate joints of her shoulders, and her breath stops in her throat. For your crime, o most beautiful of women, the goddess whispers, you shall have life, and fear, and men shall turn to stone when you gaze upon them. There is a hissing building around her eyes, growing in her veins, singing within her very flesh and her scalp is on fire. She feels her hair begin to grow and twist with new life, become cold against her skin, a thousand tiny tongues licking at the curve of her throat, at the delicate skin behind her ears, and she screams. What good does your beauty do you now, the goddess asks, and she feels her own eyes burn and harden into stone. What good does your beauty do you now, when it brings death, and not desire?
